" I WAS OUT THERE ONCE ! "

That shadowy group of Cork City supporters known as the Friends of Cork City have joined Commandos 84 in boycotting City's home games until Tom Coughlan leaves the club. The top right hand corner of the CRS wil be a quiter place without them! Full statement below;

Friends of Cork City Statement 21/12/2009

Followingon from the Commandos statement last week we also wish to announce thatevery FOCC member will be boycotting all home matches next season if MrTom Coughlan is still in charge of Cork City FC.

Mr Coughlan has continually dragged this clubs name through the dirt and brought it to the edge of extinction.

As a peaceful organisation we feel this action is only option at this point. In unity with our Commando brethren we also call on Mr Coughlan to relinquish control and ownership of the club.

We also implore all other supporters groups to boycott the club while TomCoughlan remains at the helm and to support FORAS in its efforts to keep our club alive.

Is that a light at the end of the tunnel? No it's a train and it's heading our way! Because  joining TNB and Meaney onboard is Danny Drew! That's right Danny Drew! It looks like Drew is the only one prepared to bail TNB out! In return for this he'll be chairman in TNB's absence.
